In the wake of Alfie Patten becoming a 13-year-old father, primary schools in Great Britain are beginning sex education classes as early as age 5.A DNA test has revealed that ‘dad at 13’ Alfie Patten is NOT the father of baby Maisie. The story rocked England seven weeks ago when baby Maisie Roxanne was born to 15-year-old Chantelle Steadman, who claimed her boydfriend, 13-year-old Alfie was the father. A media circus insued when six other teenage boys from Eastbourne England came forward claiming they had slept with Chantelle and that they might be the baby’s father. (See below for Alfie’s dad appearing in a devil’s mask to the press, or his mother facing truancy charges for letting Alfie miss months of school.)

Chantelle (15) had insisted that she was in love with the babyfaced boy and that he had taken her virginity, but six other local boys came forward soon after the baby’s birth and said that they had also had sex with her and could be Maisie’s daddy. Alfie had been excited about the prospect of fatherhood: “I take responsibility and will look after baby Maisie like a grown up father.”

The teen agreed to a DNA test to answer the question for once and for all. At first, little Alfie wasn’t even sure what a DNA test was and had to have it explained to him by his mum. “I didn’t know about DNA tests before but mum explained it’s when they do a swab in your mouth and it tells if you’re the dad. So if I have it, they can all shut up.” His mum Nicole, 43, added at the time: “It had not even crossed Alfie’s mind whether Chantelle had not been faithful to him. He’s absolutely devastated that these lads say they slept with her.”

It has now revealed that Alfie is not the dad. His world seems to have fallen apart – he has reportedly been with Chantelle for two years, although the apparent evidence that she has been cheating on him may change that. It has also been rumoured that Chantelle’s mother Penny (38) had told her daughter to say that she had been a virgin until she slept with Alfie and that he was the only possible father.

So now the question is who is baby Maisie’s real daddy?

Alfie Patten: “I’m The Daddy. If I’m not, f*** you all, I’ll still be there.”

Alfie Patten wants to be the father of baby Maisie despite being 13 years old.

*** BREAKING NEWS IN THE ALFIE PATTEN-CHANTELLE STEADMAN-BABY MAISIE CASE!!! ***

Baby Lifestyles has moved.

Alfie Patten might be 13 years old and the father of baby Maisie Roxanne. And although fathering a child at age 13 with his 15-year-old girlfriend Chantelle Steadman might not have been the smartest thing he could have done, isn’t what defines the measure of a man how he deals with difficult situations and handles his responsibilities? Well, for what it’s worth, we tip our hats to boy-faced man Alfie.

In the past week since Maisie’s birth, he’s been ridiculed, had a media circus surround him to the point that a judge banned further reporting, had up to eight other boys say they’ve slept with his girlfriend and fathered his child, had a popular gambling site start placing bets on who the father is, and had both of his divorced parents try to profit from the situation. How has Alfie handled this? He offered to take a DNA test to prove his paternity. He’s spent as much time as possible at the Steadman house (albeit playing some playstation), and defiantly wants the world to know that he’s manning up to his responsibilities i.e. Maisie.

A defiant Alfie Patten was photographed yesterday by his house in Hailsham, East Sussex, wearing a personalized hoodie that displayed the following information: “Alfie Patten. I’m The Daddy. If I’m not, f*** you all, I’ll still be there.” On the back of the hood was a middle finger sticking up. (He is only 13 after all)

The whole thing might be a scam by Steadman and her parents to make money but you have to admit, while little Alfie has yet to grow into an adult, he’s showing a lot of promise.

Fatherhood Scam of Alfie Comes As Judge Issues Media Ban

*** BREAKING NEWS IN THE ALFIE PATTEN-CHANTELLE STEADMAN-BABY MAISIE CASE!!! ***

The 13-year-old said to be Britain’s youngest father was a victim of a scam devised by his girlfriend’s mother to cash in on publicity surrounding the young parents, a family friend has claimed. Teen mom Chantelle Steadman’s mother told her 15-year-old daughter to say Alfie Patten was the father of baby Maisie Roxanne who was born last week, according to a report in The Daily Mail. Clive Sim, who says he is a friend of the Steadman’s, said Penny Steadman had told her daughter Chantelle to keep quiet about other boys she had slept with because ‘she knew Alfie being the dad makes a better story’. “I think there’s a big scam going on here” he was quoted as saying.

The claims come amid media attention surrounding the two families, and speculation that Maisie’s father could be one of up to six boys Chantelle had slept with. Alfie has agreed to take a DNA test to prove he is the father, with several television outlets reported to be offering up to $180,000 to broadcast the results.

Since the story emerged, a feeding frenzy has erupted around the Patten family home in Hailsham, East Sussex. Mrs. Justice Baron said Alfie must be allowed to return to a normal life after a week of media intrusion and speculation about the paternity of baby Maisie. She granted an application to restrict all further reporting in the case of Alfie, baby Maisie and his supposed girlfriend, Chantelle, 15. Following a hearing in private, a statement was read out to reporters explaining the judge’s reasons for making the order. It said that one of the reasons was “because of the birth of Maisie to a mother of only 15 and a putative father who was 13 at the time of the child’s birth and 12 at the time of the alleged conception”. And “because of allegations by at least two others that they may be the putative father of Maisie.” The statement added: “As a result of press intrusion, of which the court has received information, the private and family life of the mother and her baby has been disrupted to such an extent that the judge was concerned about the mother and baby being unable to live a normal family life.” The judge ruled that the rights of the children involved under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights – to a private and family life – took precedence over the Article 10 rights of the press to freedom of expression.
